Another favourite in the slow cooker, if I am going to be pushed for time in the morning, I put it all the pot, then fridge overnight and place in the slow cooker in the morning.
Recipe serves 4-6 depending on how hungry!!
- 1kg braising steak cut into large chunks
- 4 tbsp Barts Massaman curry paste
- 2 x 400ml can of coconut cream
- 450g salad potatoes cut into chunks
- 2 x onions finely sliced
- 4 x kaffir lime leaves
- 1 x cinnamon stick
- 1 tbsp tamarind paste
- 1 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
Place all the ingredients into a slow cooker for 6 hours.
Serve with Jasmine rice and finely shredded red chilli. Enjoy!
