Jaffa drizzle loaf cake

So this weekends baking with be on the orange theme!!

5oz butter softened
8oz SR flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
8oz caster sugar
6 tbsp milk
Grated zest of an orange

3 tbsp orange juice
2oz golden caster sugar
2oz dark chocolate

Heat oven to 180/160 fan/gas mark 4
Line a 1.2 litre loaf tin with a liner
Put all cake ingredients into a bowl and beat until light and fluffy.
Spoon mix into tin and level the top.
Bake for 45-50 mins until golden brown and firm to the touch.
Meanwhile, heat the orange juice and sugar in a small pan until the sugar has dissolved.
When the cake is cooked, remove from oven and spoon over the orange mix.
Break up the chocolate and melt (either in microwave or over a pan of simmering water) drizzle over cake and leave to set.
Perfect with a cup of Lakeland SpecialĀ® tea.
