Found ourselves with a free evening after plans changed, as we were still lucky enough to have good weather, thought we could squeeze in another evening walk. Sent a tweet out and despite the lack of brownies, Bruce and Gary joined us for the walk up Walla Crag.
We met in the Great Wood car park and decided on a circular walk taking in the crag. Such a beautiful night and with the way which we walked had constant view over Derwent water.
We headed towards Ashness bridge and took the classic postcard shot!
From here there was a well defined path up to the crag. Enjoying the views is why I make no apology for being a fair weather walker!
I know that living in the lakes gives me that luxury of being able to do that.
It was a great walk round, a short cut through the woods and the car was in sight. Said our goodbyes and off to Keswick for some calorie replacement 🙂

Enjoys knife throwing, running, fell walking, snapping pics on my travels round the Lakes and being a domestic goddess. My Chocolate Brownies are legendary so I am told.
