100g white chocolate chopped plus 50g for the topping
125g butter chopped
225g light soft brown sugar
1tsp vanilla bean paste
3 large eggs beaten
100g plain flour
50g SR flour
4 tbsp horlicks
1 x 135g maltesers
60g milk chocolates chopped

Method

Preheat oven to 170Ā°, fan 150Ā°, gas mark 3. Grease and line a 20cm square tin.

Put 100g of the white chocolate and the butter into a heatproof dish over simmering hot water. Melt gently, when melted stir until smooth and combined. Leave to cool slightly.

Add the sugar, vanilla and eggs to the melted chocolate and butter. Mix until smooth. Stir in the flours and horlicks and stir till smooth. Add the chopped chocolate and 100g of the maltesers. Spoon into prepared tin. Bake on the middle shelf for 35-40 minutes.

Leave to cool in tin. Melt the remaining white chocolate and crush the remaining maltesers. Drizzle over some of the melted chocolate, scatter the maltesers and then finish with the remaining chocolate.
