Eyes down

I grew up in a place called Over Norton in the heart of the Cotswolds. Over Norton is a tiny village, it’s a very beautiful chocolate box village, but there is literally nothing to do there. I laugh when I hear teenagers complaining of life in Kendal and there being nothing to do. The only excitement I had was the weekly youth club and bingo on a Monday night.

Maybe I was trying to relive my youth, but I wanted to go to bingo again. So a night out with my sister and husbands cousin armed with our dabbers. It was fun. I was slightly disappointed that the bingo lingo wasn’t used anymore. It was slightly nerve racking keeping up with the pace. No winnings but a good laugh. Now I’m a gala bingo card holder I’ll definitely be going back!
