Apple tart

Sat in the doctors surgery and flicking through a magazine and was inspired by a simple pudding. It helped that I had some leftover puff pastry from a pie I was making.

Puff pastry (I cheated and got a sheet = no rolling out!)

Red eating apples cored and cut into slices

Salted Caramel sauce

Icing sugar

Using a saucer, cut out rounds of puff pastry and place on a baking tray lined with baking parchment.

With a sharp knife, score a circle about 1cm from the edge.

Spread a tablespoon of caramel sauce on the pastry and place apple on top of sauce, sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.

Place into oven 200° and bake for 25 minutes.

Dust with icing sugar and serve.
