My names Gina and it feels like deja vu back to January 2017. I’m about to put myself to the test in running another marathon. It takes a special kind of nutter to contemplate running marathon.

Whether we like it or not, people love to judge especially when it comes to size and appearance. Many of us would describe the ideal runner’s body as lean, lanky and lithe. Even at my thinest I would never be described as any of the above.
That festive time of year again, the tree is up and though I’m not a fan of the season, I do like rediscovering my decorations as I dress the tree and house. Unwrapping the collection of trinkets collected over the years.

Carrot cake was never on my radar until it was a request for a birthday cake. After searching my array of cooking books and google. This one is my new favourite bake. Super easy to make and so incredibly moist .

After seeing the chef Tom Kitchin on Great British menu and seeing his restaurant, I’d wanted to visit. The Kitchin on Edinburgh’s Leith waterfront was opened in 2006. The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2007 and still has it today.
I love veggie food and this one is packed full of flavour. I used a pancake pan to make the flatbreads in.
