Completing number 39 off my 40 at 40 list – photocopy boobs

This ended up on the list as a bit of fun, pretty much along with alot of other things on my list. If you saw the photocopier in our office, I would have done myself an injury trying to photocopy any body parts on it.
So having just done number 23 off my list ouch! Sam (my beauty therapist)asked what else was on my list which we could do. I said “well there is photocopy my boobs!” She said come on let’s see if the photocopier is on.
We were in luck,it was, luckily I had an easy access dress on. Photocopying oneself is not as easy as I thought!!
First attempt boobs were in the wrong place and just got my face, but second attempt was successful!!
So thank you Sam for your assistance in holding the lid, pressing the copy
Button and keeping watch!
We certainly did have a giggle with both number 23 and 39 🙂

Having had regularly bikini waxes for more years than I care to remember, I’d never considered having a Hollywood. I’m sure the different styles of waxing cause confusion and wonderment to many peoples minds!

So what are the chances that a Bank holiday Monday will be bad weather?!! The forecast was not good and was definitely not a fell walking day so decided to tackle another thing on my 40 at 40 list.

Completing No36 off my 40 at 40 to do list – Via Feratta Extreme

So I have my to do list and as much as I don’t like it I am officially in my 40th year.  So the first one to do was the Via Feratta Extreme at Honister Slate mine.  I put out a twitter alert and asked friends but lots said “no way you’ll getting me up there” or holidays, illness etc. prevented some on coming on my little adventure.  So the band of 8 of us met at Honister for our scary adventure.Continue reading “Completing No36 off my 40 at 40 to do list – Via Feratta Extreme”

40 things to be done in my 40th year

Next year is my big 40th yikes does that makes me a grown up??  Dont think Im ready for that!

I remember panicking over being 30 and that seemed like yesterday, time is certainly going by too quickly.  If I had a pound for everytime someone said “As you get older it goes quicker” I would have enough for my coveted Mac book air!

So in thinking about turning 40 and with various things that have happened in the last 12 months, was thinking of ways to embrace it rather than fear it.  When I was 30 I completed the London Marathon and always wanted to do it again so it got me thinking.  A friend suggested do 40 things never done before and so here we are with #ginasbig40th2013.

So on the list so far:

  1. Busk with my friend Terry in Kendal town centre, make enough money to buy our lunch
  2. Indoor Skydive
  3. Go snowboarding
  4. Learn to do a handbrake turn
  5. Abseil
  6. Go round the TT course on the back of a bike
  7. Drive a super car
  8. Climb Mount Snowdon
  9. Do the Yorkshire 3 peaks
  10. Go to a climbing wall
  11. Dine at La Gavaroche
  12. Have “Special” brownies
  13. Pose nude for an Art Class
  14. Go in a Helicopter over the lovely lakes
  15. Try a very expensive bottle of wine
  16. Wild camp and see dawn from the top of a fell
  17. Do an all nighter in Ibiza, being at Cafe Mambo for sunset
  18. Complete London in a sub 4 hours
  19. Do the Keswick to Barrow walk
  20. Drive a steamer boat
  21. Learn to Pole dance
  22. Learn to Belly dance
  23. Have a Hollywood wax

So I need your help with suggestions for the last 17
