So this was a bonus Twitter walk, Dave and I had decided we wanted to do the Skiddaw Traverse, taking in Lonscale, Little Man, Skiddaw, Bakestall and back round the Cumbrian Way via Skiddaw House. So put it out there and 12 people turn up to join us!! Newbies to the group were Beth andContinue reading “Twitteratti walk up Skiddaw Dec 16th”
So another twitteratti walk was upon us and I had decided on the Coledale Horseshoe route. A few new faces this time, Steve, Jim’s wife Cindy and friend Mick, plus Paul and Karen. The weather for a change was absolutely amazing as you can see from the pics.
So another twitteratti walk was here and the weather was not looking great. After getting soaked on our Buttermere walk vowed would not go out in bad conditions! So this was the third of the Twitter walks and it was a record turn out of 15! I had made industrial proportions of Chocolate brownie and Alan and Gary bought lots of custard!
So this was our second Twitter walk and we had some new faces joining the gang. We had the very lovely Tanya aka @heelwalker1, Bruce aka @brucehardy2 and Si aka @SiButterworth. Luckily I had made enough brownies for the extended gang!! Tanya and I had our essentials, mascara and lippy, all part of being aContinue reading “Great Gable July 8th 2012”
